The Mindyarra Maintenance Centre is a new purpose-built rail maintenance facility in Dubbo, delivered to service the NSW Regional Rail fleet.
The Design & Build project — constructed by CPB Contractors — comprises a maintenance building with three internal tracks, workshops and spare-parts storage, a wheel lathe and train wash building, an administration building and associated rail works including ballast, sleepers, track, signalling and commissioning.
Transport for NSW and Momentum Trains worked collaboratively to ensure the design and construction of the Mindyarra Maintenance Centre minimised environmental impacts and emissions, contributing to the NSW Government’s long-term net-zero targets.
