LOCATION: 26-28 Belmont St, Sutherland
46 unit mixed-use development. We assisted with design management, procurement and superintendent for this property. We were engaged after the project had received a DA so we ensured the property received construction certificate by meeting the conditions of the DA. We then ran a strict procurement process in accordance with procurement New South Wales Guidelines, as well as, tendered and negotiated the contract agreement and acted as a superintendent under the contract.
One of the challenges of Belmont St was to make it as profitable as possible for the client. The solution was to remove the sprinklers from the building and provide an alternate solution; this saved the client between $300,000 - $400,000, and made the project feasibility more attractive.
